Students can do almost anything at AISS, where curriculum choices combine challenging and enriching experiences with academic rigour and creative opportunities. From Preschool to Year 12, AISS students experience a variety of learning options which develop their talents and challenge their minds.

In Preschool, our youngest students discover the fun of learning through a Reggio Emilia inspired approach that combines with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).

In Junior and Primary School students continue the PYP and study Technology, Art, Chinese (Mandarin), Physical Education and Music, while focusing on developing strong foundations in literacy and numeracy.

Middle School students take part in the exciting Middle Years Programme (MYP) and we challenge our students' minds, bodies and spirits through a unique personal growth and development program. In this program we emphasise the important issues relevant to adolescents in a global society.

In the Senior School, the learning choices continue to grow with two exciting learning pathways at Year 10: The New South Wales Board of Studies School Certificate and the final year of MYP. The Australian International School is a candidate school for the IB Diploma Programme (DP). Once the DP has been approved, Year 11 students will be able to select either: The New South Wales Board of Studies Higher School Certificate or The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) to complete their Secondary education.
