School Captain, Todd McGarvey has been offered a scholarship to study Comerce/Science at Macquarie University in Australia after achieving a score of 99.55. Todd was listed in the NSW Merit List of All Round students. This list comprises students who achieved a Band 6 in every subject. A second student, Graham Wong, who has been at AISS for his entire 13 years of schooling was also announced on the Merit List of All Rounders. Graeme's score of 99.3 placed him second in the Year 12 group.
Todd McGarvey was also listed as one of the State's Top Achievers (ranking in the top 10 of a subject across the whole state). Todd placed 2nd in IPT (Information Processes & Technology), 5th in Economics and 9th in Business Studies. Elizabeth West was also listed as a Top Achiever, placing 8th in Business Studies.
Todd, Elizabeth and Graham will all have their names placed on Honour Boards at the entrance to the School.
