Year 10 and 11 Drama students enjoyed a theatrical spectacle last Thursday night when they attended The Paper Boat at The Esplanade Theatre. 

This multimedia performance was a sensory exploration which started with students constructing paper boats and culminated in a rich performance exploring the complexities of dreams, desires and journeys.

Every year AIS holds a series of Swimming Carnivals across the sub-schools. Last week, we held both the combined Middle / Senior and the Primary School events, which saw more student compete than ever before.

Derwent won the highest number of house points, in both events, while Lachlan won the Middle / Senior Spirit Cup for their efforts.

Our Year 11 and 12 students got a chance to take time out from their studies today to consider where they might like to take their education journey once they graduate from AIS.  

The Career Focus Day is one of the many opportunities throughout the year for our young adults to learn more about their options once their secondary school education is complete, and follows on from a series of profession-specific workshops and lectures that have already taken place this year.
