Integral to the way we nurture community and promote a sense of belonging at AIS is our Pastoral Care Program. The School Counsellor plays an important role in this program, providing one on one counselling support when necessary and working with teachers and students to foster a learning environment in which excellence is pursued, attitudes to learning encouraged and diversity celebrated.

Year Coordinators are also integral to the Pastoral Care Program supporting all students within each year level with academic and other issues while at school.

For those students transitioning from different curriculum systems, whether they be Australian or other international curricula, additional support is offered by curriculum experts in Primary and Secondary and by all our teachers, the majority of whom have experienced relocating to Singapore themselves.
