AISS is accredited by the Board of Studies, New South Wales, Australia as well as being accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organisation in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) giving our school IB World School status. At AISS, students work towards both their School Certificate in Year 10 and their MYP Certificate.
In the middle years of schooling our focus is to engage students in learning by offering meaningful and authentic curriculum. We provide them with academic challenges that encourage our students to embrace and understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world. Our curriculum takes a student centred approach where the student is seen as the focal point within the areas of interaction investigated within our Middle Years Programme. Our students transition into the senior phase of learning as resilient learners and critical and reflective thinkers who have a depth of understanding of cultural diversity.
We provide a strong Personal Growth and Development Program which allows for the holistic education of our students. An integral part of this program are camps which enable students to study a variety of issues and achieve academic, social and cultural outcomes in communities within Thailand and Malaysia.
