Peter commenced at AISS in 2008 and has been working in education for 23 years. His first seven years were spent with the NSW Department of Education teaching in inner western Sydney and Penrith schools. He then worked at Trinity Grammar Preparatory School at Strathfield in Sydney for three years where he was a Classroom teacher and Year Coordinator.

In 1995, Peter took up a position at The King’s School in Sydney where he has been for the past 13 years. At Kings, Peter has been involved in Classroom Teaching, Year Coordinating, and as a Housemaster for both boarding and day students. For the past seven years he has been the Deputy Head at the Preparatory School. This role involved both curriculum management and pastoral care of the students and staff. In 2003, Peter worked in Edmonton Canada In 2003, Peter worked in Canada, exchanging with the Deputy Principal of a Primary School in Edmonton.

In 2005 Kings began the process of integrating the PYP alongside the NSW BOS curriculum. Over the past three years Peter has held the position of PYP Co-ordinator in conjunction with his role as Deputy Head. Peter believes the PYP to be the most powerful and relevant curriculum program available for primary schools.

Peter has moved to Singapore with his wife and three children.
