Project ROCKIT to Fight Bullying in the Digital World

We launched an exciting new program from Australia in Year 8 & 9 – Project ROCKIT. Project ROCKIT is a fantastic youth designed social media platform which tackles bullying, cyber bullying and leadership with a focus on creating ‘a safer and kinder digital world’. Our students have participated in a number of online workshops on how to deal with common cyberbullying situations and standing up for what you believe in with a real emphasis on being a bystander who makes a difference. - Chris Vlahov, Head of Year 9.
"Project ROCKIT has taught us how to be more aware of bullying and how to address it. We now feel more confident to stand up against bullying in an appropriate way." (Annie & Anouk Year 9)
"My experience with Project ROCKIT was definitely a positive one. The interesting, informative and realistic workshops tackled many relevant and important issues that relate closely to our lives as adolescents." (Marzio Year 9)
"I learned that retaliation is not a good way to react and sticking up for others without being physical is important and not to let little things escalate. I enjoyed the program because it was interactive and each component was explained well." (Spencer Year 9)
