AIS Student Achieves Highest GCSE Mark In Singapore
Australian International School (AIS) Year 10 student, Alexandra Cochrane, achieved the highest mark for GCSE Art and Design: Lens and Light-based Media in Singapore. During the two-year intensive, UK-based course, Alexandra explored various styles of film and photography, and received full marks in the GCSE final examinations for her submission on the topic of “Order and Disorder”.
Her multiple media project, including a film created for the exam, highlighted the challenges that can be placed upon adolescence.
Alexandra has displayed a tremendous flair for the visual arts and her art works have been selected for inclusion in the International Schools exhibition in 2014 and has found a place of pride at the school’s Annual Art Exhibition.
We invite you to view the incredible artwork created by AIS students at the Affordable Art Fair next week (12 – 15 November).
