Australian International School held a playgroup for 27 families at the Early Years Centre this week in partnership with New Mothers' Support Group.
Parents and caregivers came with their children to explore our Platypus class for four-year-olds, where they enjoyed indoor and outdoor play under the care of our Early Years curriculum specialists.
Some children put their creative skills to the test with Play-Doh molding and arts and crafts, while others explored our dedicated outdoor play areas, enjoying water actvities and sand play. The playgroup also enjoyed an interactive story telling session with our Literacy specialist.
Such purposeful play is at the core of the AIS Nursery and Preschool curriculum, with a special emphasis on letting children learn through inquiry, exploration and discovery.
This is the third playgroup held at AIS this year, following a May playgroup held in partnership with Stork's Nest Singapore and a Teddy Bears Picnic in March hosted in partnership with Sassy Mama.
