Published by Ailsa Morrison

AIS' Founding Principal, Coral Dixon, has been named in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List (2014) for her ‘significant service to international education through leadership roles, and to the development of Australia-Asia social and cultural links.’  Coral founded AIS in 1993 with a handful of staff and students at our original campus at Mount Sophia. Nearly 21 years later we are proud to stand at 2600 students and over 300 staff at our purpose-built campus on Lorong Chuan, in the centre of Singapore. This honour also recognises Coral’s other work including, supporting the education of children in Nepal and Cambodia and improving education for girls and empowering women in the region.

For more information check the Governor General's website here, which details the full Honours List.
