Tuition fees include all books, stationery, Parents’ Association membership and are based on a two semester / four term year, unless stated otherwise.

Lunch is included as part of the program costs for Early Years students.

Excursions are included in the program costs for students in Early Years and Elementary School.

The Outdoor Education program (formerly Camps), is a compulsory part of the curriculum program for students in Years 2 – Year 10. This is not included as part of the tuition fees and will be billed separately. (costs associated with the 2018 program will be shared with parents in due course).

Replacement of lost IT resources, textbooks, workbooks, library books and other school resources will be expected to be funded by the student/family prior to the distribution of additional resources.

The Technology Fee is an annual fee. It is not included in the Tuition Fees and is payable with the first tuition payment, prior to commencement.

Goods And Services Tax (GST)

All fees are expressed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) including prevailing Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 7%, GST subject to change at Singapore Government discretion.

School Tuition Fee Discounts

Families with three or more students concurrently enrolled at AIS in any individual calendar year will be offered the following School Fee discounts (based on the age of the students):

3rd child – 10% 4th child – 20% 5th child – 20%

2018 School Fee Billing Cycles And Payment Requirements

AIS will deliver invoices for tuition fees half yearly in advance, with payment to be settled as per the schedule below.

Payment Terms

School fees are not pro-rated if the student begins tuition after the term has commenced or if a student withdraws prior to the conclusion of the term.

AIS accepts payment by cash, cheque, bank transfer and credit card facilities. 

School Fee Refund Policy

% of the amount of fees paid under Schedules B and C If Student's written notice of withdrawal to the Admissions department is received:
100% Course Fees On or before 19 October in relation to students due to commence during Semester 1 (January to June); or On or before 13 April for students due to commence in Semester 2 (July to December).
0% Course Fees After 19 October in relation to students due to commence during semester 1 (January to June); or After 13 April for students due to commence in semester 2 (July to December).
0% Course Fees After the commencement of a semester. If a student has commenced school during Semester 1 or Semester 2, there will be no refund of any portion of that semester’s course fees regardless of when notice of withdrawal is given.
0% Application Fee

The Application Fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable except in the following circumstances:

  1. AIS is unable to offer a place to a student applicant due to denial of student pass or failure to obtain approval by the relevant Singapore authorities
  2. AIS is unable to offer a place to a student applicant due to waitlist at AIS and the student elects not to be placed on the waitlist
  3. Student applicant does not meet the eligibility criteria for enrolment at AIS
  4. AIS is unable to offer a place to a student applicant due to sibling priority policy as published by AIS

The Application Fee will be refunded in full in the event a Student application cannot be accepted at AIS for the reasons set out in 1) to 4) as determined by AIS in its sole discretion.

0% Facility Fee The Facility Fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable in all circumstances.
Application Fee $3,360.00

The Application Fee is paid to the Australian International School (AIS) at the time the application is submitted for enrolment. No application is considered until the Application Fee is paid. This fee applies to each student.

The $3,360.00 Application Fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable for any student who receives a formal written offer into AIS but declines the offer.

Application And Facility Fee Discounts

AIS will apply a 50% Application and Facilities Fees discount for the 3rd family member enrolling into AIS. AIS will apply a 100% Application and Facilities Fee discount for the 4th family member and subsequent family members enrolling into AIS.

For returning students who have previously been enrolled at AIS, a 100% discount on the Application and Facilities fee will be offered. For students who have been away for more than three years, a nominal topup fee may be required to cover any incremental increase in fees since the previous enrolment.
