With over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. J Dianne Brederson has been instrumental in leading various international, public, private, charter, and independent schools, spanning from Early Years to graduate and pre-service education.

J Dianne has lived and worked in the US, Europe, South East Asia, and Africa. Her journey as an educator began in her early twenties when she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Rwanda, teaching English as a Foreign Language and Physical Education. She holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction, a master’s degree in educational leadership, and a master’s degree in teaching foreign languages.

J Dianne enjoys yoga, reading, camping, hiking, water and snow sports, (skiing, snowshoeing, paddle boarding, canoeing), and exploring the world with her spouse and two teens.

“I consider my role as an educator a responsibility, a privilege, and a joy. I cannot imagine doing anything else. I voraciously explore the many challenges of serving as an educational leader with an unbridled curiosity to learn where the intersections of best educational practices lie to meet the needs of my school community, its children, parents, faculty and staff.”
