AIS Big Day Out 2026 Brings Together More Than 1,700 Community Members

As one of the standout events in the AIS calendar, the annual picnic welcomed not only current families but also members of the wider Australian and New Zealand communities in Singapore. The event showcased the vibrant culture and strong sense of belonging that make Australian International School Singapore a leading international school in Singapore.

The campus came alive with exciting activities, carnival games, sports challenges, live entertainment and a wide range of food offerings. Families enjoyed the opportunity to spend quality time together, meet other members of the school community and experience the welcoming atmosphere that defines life at AIS.

A key highlight of the event was the outstanding lineup of student performances. Early Years students delighted the audience with a heartwarming opening performance, while the Elementary Choir and Year 5 Pop Band entertained the crowd with a lively medley of popular songs. The celebration continued with impressive performances from the Secondary Senior Jazz All Stars and The Beagles, showcasing the depth of talent across the school. Student-led bands then rounded off the evening, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere that had the community singing and dancing along.

Beyond the entertainment, the AIS Big Day Out reflected the importance of building meaningful connections within a school community. Events such as these provide opportunities for families to engage with one another beyond the classroom, helping to foster friendships, strengthen relationships and create a shared sense of belonging.

As a leading international school in Singapore, AIS is committed to creating experiences that support students and families both academically and socially. The Big Day Out is a wonderful example of how the school brings people together, celebrates student talent and nurtures a connected and supportive community.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed and contributed to the success of this year’s event. The energy, enthusiasm and camaraderie on display throughout the day were a powerful reminder of what makes the AIS community so special.
