Important Dates

Please note that all classes will be held 3 times a week, with 1 being held on Saturdays. Each class will last for one hour each.

Students and parents should inform teachers in advance if they are unable to attend class. Pre-recorded lessons will be provided for students to catch up asynchronously.

Teacher-Guided Foundational Academic English

Partially student-guided and teacher-guided, this Foundational Academic English (FAE) programme supports students who prefer to have access to guidance from expert teachers, whilst still providing flexibility to work around existing school schedules.

Opportunities to delve further in depth to the various subject-specific content
Gain further insight to their learning progress through weekly interaction with the teacher

How does it work?

New subject content is released onto the platform at the end of each week, subject to the completion of the current week’s content

When do I graduate?

Students are SLATE tested at the end of 10 weeks to determine their proficiency and preparedness for moving into the PCS programme
Option to continue enrolment for another 10-weeks

Requirements for Completion and Certificate

To successfully complete the programme and receive a certificate of completion, students must:

Actively participate in all synchronous and asynchronous activities.
Complete all modules and assessments with satisfactory performance.
Achieve a minimum score on the final Slate Test (see above).

2025-2026 FAE Fees

Foundational Academic English – Teacher-guided

Application Fee: SGD 130 (one time, non-refundable)

Tuition Fee: SGD 3,970 per 10-week session

All charges are expressed in Singapore Dollars (SGD), including GST of 9%.

FAE Certification

A certificate upon completion of the Foundational Academic English Programme is awarded by Australian International School Pte Ltd (a registered private education institution with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
