Our Australian International School, Singapore calendar for the 2025-2026 academic year has 4 terms. Each term is 10 weeks, supporting optimum learning periods and preventing the fatigue often associated with a 3-term (15 week) system.
We have two 4-week school holiday periods instead of the traditional 8-week summer break. One falls at Christmas (December/January) and one mid-year (June/July). This schedule reduces learning loss and suits expatriate families, allowing time to visit home for one break and explore Asia during the other.
