Term 2 Virtual Orientation 2026
Zoom Call: Thursday, 9 April 2026
- 10:00 am – Welcome
- 10:15 am – Breakout rooms in Sub-School

- Secondary (12yrs-18yrs)
What to expect: The objective of the virtual orientation is to explain what you can expect on your first day of school. In this virtual orientation, you will be able to ask questions about what time to report to school, what to bring and what you can expect.
Please note: In the zoom registration there will be a prompt asking you to choose the Sub-School you would like to join. If your family crosses over different Sub-Schools (Secondary/Elementary/Early Learning Village), please pick your oldest child’s Sub-School and your Admissions Manager will send you the recording of the other Sub-School/s after the Orientation.
Unable to attend Virtual Orientation
If for some reason, you are unable to attend Virtual Orientation, we will need to schedule an enrolment meeting for both your child and a parent or guardian to attend before the commencement of school.

First Day of School (Monday, 19 January 2026)
Date: Monday, 13 April 2026
Time: 8:00 am
Location: Please refer to the below table for the relevant Gate
For the First Day Of School, please ensure you drop off your child at 8 am. Our Admissions Staff will be stationed at each gate, easily identifiable in their white AIS shirts, ready to assist you if needed. Or if your lost, simply say to anybody ‘Excuse me, we are new to AIS’ and they will help you.
If you’re arriving by taxi, it’s important to note that taxi drivers and taxi apps offer different gates as options for drop-off.
For families with children in different sub-schools, here’s what you need to do:
- If you have children in both Early Years and Elementary, please proceed to the Early Learning Village (ELV) and then cross over the Music Bridge to reach Elementary.
- For families with children in Elementary and Secondary, head to Gate 1 and make your way to the Theatre.

First Day Morning Coffee and Other Support
Date: Monday, 13 April 2026
Time: 8.30am – 9.30am
Location: Gate 3, Billabong Cafe
After dropping off your child, we extend an invitation to join us at the Billabong Cafe (Gate 3) for a cup of coffee! Our IT support team will also be present to answer any questions to ensure you can access all your AIS accounts.
