Orientation Day


Term 2 Orientation Thursday 14th April


Welcome to all our new AIS families. We are incredibly excited you have chosen AIS and can’t wait for you to start your journey in Singapore with us.


Your Admissions Manager will send you an invite to register for our Online Orientation session for your family between 10:00 -11:00am on Thursday, 14th April. We will start with a formal Welcome by our Head of School before we go to break out rooms for each of the Sub Schools. A member of the Sub Schools Senior Leadership Team will take you through what to expect on Day 1 and it will end with an opportunity for you to ask any last-minute questions.


After this Online Orientation your child will be moved to ‘roll attending’ in our student Management System and this generates their timetables and also brings the whole family into our internal Parent Portal.   PLEASE don’t try to access till Friday 15th April when pushed to ‘roll attending’.  It’s here that you can order lunches for the following Monday and get car passes and other valuable information going forward. 


We are always very excited to welcome new families to AIS. If at any point you need further help please reach out to you Admissions Managers and they will assist.


DAY 1 TERM 2: Monday, 18th April 2022 8:10am


On the first day of Term, new students start their day at 8:10am. Due to COVID-19 we are required to sign you in at the assigned school gate. You may already have a trace together token or use the Trace together App. We only permit parents and students on campus.


It is super easy to find where to go when you arrive at the AIS campus. Taxi companies know our different gates so please advise them which gate you require. The security staff will be able to point you in the right direction once on campus. Our friendly Admissions Staff will be wearing these navy-blue shirts and are easily recognised near the entry gates. We also have clearly labelled welcome signs at the registration’s tables on campus inside each gate. Simply say to anybody 'Excuse me, we are new to AIS' and you'll get more help than you could possibly ask for.


If you have children at different sub-schools, please arrive at the gate that is for your eldest child first. A member of the team will then assist you with directions to the correct area for your younger children.

The AIS Parent Portal - Connect

PLEASE don’t try to access till Friday 15th April when pushed to ‘roll attending’.

Connect AIS is the community portal used by Parents, Students and Staff in AIS. 

It is customised for every user and allows access to essential processes, such as Online Canteen Ordering and Parent-Teacher Interview sign-ups, and important information from the school, such as Timetables and Class Communication.

To perform your first log in, please do the following:

  1. Go to ais.fireflycloud.asia
  2. Click on the Blue button that states "New to Firefly? Activate your account."
  3. Key in the email you provided to your Admissions Manager
  4. Activation instructions will be sent to your registered email address


If you need further assistance or encounter any issues with parent portal, please email our IT Helpdesk at help@ais.com.sg and indicate the subject with your child’s name and year group, (for example: Unable to login to parent portal – Student’s name, Year group)


Parent Pass

The safety of our community is of paramount importance to us. To maintain the security of our campus, we require all Parents and Guardians to wear their Parent Passes when entering and moving around the school.


To receive your Parent Pass on your first day of school, please submit your photo via THIS FORM . Your pass(es) will be given to your youngest child.


If you are unable to do this, please submit your photo, setting the file name as your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME (e.g. John_Doe), to ask@ais.com.sg.


Please note that the processing time for Parent Passes is between 1-2 weeks.

School Bus

If your children wish to utilise the bus service, please see details here. You will be required to complete the bus registration and health declaration form and return to your Admissions Manager or aisbus@jtt.com.sg


* Do note that processing and confirmation of your child’s bus registration can take up to 2 weeks, do ensure your child’s bus form is sent to us as soon as you can.

AIS Laptop Program

AIS has a laptop program starting from Year 6 to Year 12. Each Secondary student needs to have a MacBook for use at school. This can be either school supplied, or students can bring their own MacBook (BYOD) that meets the school minimum requirement.

Please note that once you have selected your laptop option for the year you are unable to change this until the following academic year.

Canteen Services

Canteen services are a critical part of the School’s provision, not least because we are all aware that nutritionally balanced food options for children can encourage them to engage in healthy eating habits as they continue to grow. Our school canteens cater for students in Early Years, Elementary and Secondary according to their age-specific needs and preferences.

  2. Select "Canteen" from your dashboard
  3. Click through the link
  4. You will be prompted to log in through Campus Online
  5. Select your meals and pay through the Campus Online platform
