AIS Unveils Transformative Campus Enhancement Project
The right space changes everything.
Not just the classrooms, walls and walkways that make up our campus, but the opportunities they create for every child. Space to explore new ideas. Space to fail safely and build confidence. Space to form meaningful friendships. Space to discover passions and develop a genuine sense of belonging.
As our school community continues to grow, we are excited to announce one of the most significant campus enhancement projects in our 30+ year AIS history. Beginning in June 2026, a multi-phase transformation will reshape how students, staff and families experience the campus, delivering new learning, dining and community spaces designed to support the future of education at AIS.
Creating More Space for Every Student
This ambitious project is about more than upgrading facilities. It is about creating environments that make everyday school life richer, more connected and more enjoyable for our community.
Over the next two years, AIS will introduce thoughtfully designed spaces that support collaboration, wellbeing and innovation, while enhancing the daily experience for students and families alike.
Phase 1: A Warm welcome to AIS
The first phase of the project, building from June to December 2026, focuses on the heart of daily campus life and the moments that bring our community together.
Families can look forward to a warmer and more welcoming arrival experience at Gate 1, with new communal spaces designed for connection. Whether it is enjoying a coffee at drop off, catching up with fellow parents or meeting with teachers, these enhancements will create more opportunities for meaningful engagement on campus.
At the biggest event of our year, at the Big Day Out Parent Picnic (12 September), the community can look forward to the progress of Phase 1 firsthand and learn more about the vision for the next stage of development.
Phase 2: The Heart of AIS
Beginning in December 2026 and continuing through to early 2028, Phase 2 will deliver a new hub for the school, centering the heartbeat of school life.
Designed to place AIS at the forefront of international education facilities in Singapore, this next phase includes the right space for every stage of the school day.
The AIS ‘Heart’ project includes 8 new modern science laboratories, multiple flexible learning spaces, a refreshed cardio and gym space for physical education, and a vibrant indoor dining precinct that encourages collaborative community events beyond just everyday connections and dining. Students will benefit from expanded opportunities to explore their interests in upgraded facilities, and we will welcome our families to enjoy these spaces too.
These improvements will support both academic excellence and student wellbeing, ensuring that AIS continues to provide an exceptional educational experience for current and future generations.
Building on a Strong Foundation
This bold campus initiative builds on a series of significant investments already completed in recent years.
Our students today are already enjoying them across the Early Learning Village and Main Campus. From refreshed libraries and playgrounds to improved classrooms, libraries and play areas. Together, these developments reflect AIS’s ongoing commitment to providing learning environments that inspire curiosity, creativity and achievement.
