IGCSE Results

The IGCSE assessments are for our students in Year 10 and are significant as they support them in moving towards their matriculation pathway. As with the Year 12 results, we have much to celebrate as the performance of this cohort has demonstrated excellent results.

Here are the highlights from the IGSCE results:

  • 10% of all grades achieved were ‘the highest possible grade’: A*
  • Over a quarter of all grades achieved were A*-A
  • More than half of all grades achieved were A*-B

Jonathan Ooi
Achieved 10 A* grades and a top in the world result for Economics

I was absolutely stunned when I opened my results. What immediately caught my attention was scoring Top in the World in economics, my favourite subject. I had put in a lot of time and effort into studying, but this achievement just blew me away. Next, I will be pursuing the IBDP and am excited to delve into the rigorous course. I have yet to decide my path for tertiary education, but I hope to eventually work in the United Nations: an organisation I have become passionate about from my involvement in Model UN.

Jessica Harrack
Achieved 2 A* grades and 5 A grades

When I first opened up my results I was very shocked to say the least but after rereading them, I was quite proud of myself and slightly relieved to know all my hard work and effort paid off. I was most proud of my maths grade despite being the lowest grade it was the one that I worked the most for and really pushed myself to achieve at least a grade higher than what I was currently averaging. I'm currently planning to take on the challenge of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and I am hoping to succeed throughout the next two years.

Xavier Keogh
Achieved 5 A* grades and 3 A grades

Opening the envelope holding my IGCSE results knowing that what lies inside is the culmination of two academically rigorous years, was an incredibly tense, anxious, yet in the end, rewarding experience and it therefore allows me to begin my finals years of schooling in the IBDP with a strong foundation and the skills needed to hopefully succeed in the future. I want to thank, above all, my Teachers and family who provided me with the experience, resources and incredible compassion needed to get me over the line.
