With over 25 years’ experience, Niral serves as Deputy Head of Elementary at the Australian International School. Having worked with children and adults within the public and private sectors in Auckland, London, Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, Chicago, Dubai and Hong Kong, she is a valued member of the AIS Community. Originally from Auckland (New Zealand), Niral has been privileged to hold a range of roles including Classroom Teacher, Director of IT, Education Reform Project Adviser, Deputy Head, Database Manager and PYP Coordinator. As a passionate educator, she believes the Primary Years Program (PYP) is an excellent framework that helps to prepare students to become internationally-minded global citizens capable of making a positive difference to the world.
In her spare time, Niral loves to explore the world and immerse herself into the local customs and culture. She is an avid fan of rugby (supporting the All Blacks of course), basketball and motorsports.
