Eligibility

Infant Care is open to children of all nationalities from 2 months to 18 months of age.

The Infant Care Pod is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday with an open door policy for arrival and pickup times within this timeframe.

**The Infant Care Pod is closed for approximately 2 weeks in June /July and 3 weeks in December/January, Staff Professional Development days, and on public holidays. Please check the school calendar for further details**

Staff Ratio

The staff to child ratio is 1 carer per 4 babies / infants.

Maximum daily capacity in the Infant Care Pod is 32 babies and infants, across 2 main rooms and 2 sleep rooms.

Pathways

When children reach the age of 18 months, they will transition into the -Pre-nursery program at the Australian International School.

Please speak to our Infant Care Coordinator, Head of Early Years or a member of the Early Years Leadership Team about how we support the transition from Infant Care to the Nursery years.

Fees

Any child who is enrolled in the Infant Care Program for more than 6 continuous months will be eligible for an application fee waiver to the Nursery Program at AIS.
